Anyone else having a problem with these little creatures? I have seen hardly any for years and years, now the back rock garden is alive with them and every morning I have four or five wandering around indoors. We have woodlice but not enough to comment on. Vine weevils are the worst pest here - horrible things! They appear now at the end of June and into July. I go out at night with my torch and you catch all the blighters nibbling away at the plants.

We've had a military operation every night here - slug watch. A drop of lager in yogurt pots round the flower beds. They love Sainsburys own brand lager!! Even when it's topped up with torrential rain
