The first stage is from Lagos to Albufeira via the hills and includes a couple of circuits west of town via Ferreiras through Guia and along the N125 to Alcantarilha, through Vale de Parra and past the marina before ending in town outside the CamÃ¢ra as usual. It's not abundantly clear from the map which way they will go around.

Expect therefore some disruption to traffic on the main roads in town around teatime on the 17th.

Arrival in Albufeira will be earlier than i thought, between 1430 and 1500hrs. Expect some traffic disruption for a while before and afterwards. Some roads will be closed while the race passes but not all day like in the Tour de France.
