I'll bet that no-one will held accountable for the tens of millions of wasted Euros. But don't chuck away your toll tags. The rest of the motorway network still has them!

Drivers have probably noticed that parts of the N125 are falling to pieces under the weight of the traffic not using the A22. With the improvement works cancelled (eg on the way to Guia the work abandoned these several years can be seen) it makes some sense to put traffic back onto the woefully under-used A22 and save the N125 from becoming completely unusable.

We shall see.

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

There is a new way to pay tolls in arrears on line at http://www.pagamentodoportagens.pt" rel="nofollow - http://www.pagamentodoportagens.pt

There is an administration charge of €2,21 but that is preferable I should imagine to the minimum 25 Euros fine if they have to write to you.

Source : Portugal news dated 2nd April which I read while waiting in the doctor's this morning.
