Looks busy on the Strip, someone not far from Cottage under an umbrella even though no Sun, looks like he is selling something. Lots of people on beach. About a dozen people just walked off altogether, must be a coach tRip

Been a little quieter this week than last but that's to be expected. Having said that, still busier this week than last year. We've not done so many cheap meal + drink offers and still getting great Trip advisor reviews praising the good prices! The street lights will help everyone feel a bit more festive than previous years.

There were a lot of Spanish coaches and people around the old town over the weekend. But, as one bar owner said, they aren't spending any $#&$"#"% money!

Lots of Spaniards staying in Acoteias at the Alpinus Hotel. They go out on coach trips everyday.
The busiest place here is the Motor Home Park who still seem to be attracting upwards of 30 vehicles a night.
Apart from that it's very quiet indeed - was reliably informed that the Sheraton/Pine Cliffs only had 6 guests last week.
Went into Albufeira on the bus last Tuesday - the bus was empty when we got on & it didn't stop anywhere until we got to Modelo. Journey can take 20 minutes when it's busy but last week we got there in 7 minutes.
Was speaking to a English resident yesterday who had been for a ride out to Vilamoura & Quarteira on Sunday afternoon - Vilamoura was dead but Quarteira was heaving.

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

I have noticed how quiet it is but hopefully things will pick up in time for Christmas. I am very impressed with how much work is being done down in the old town after the floods. All being being well, it will be a bit busier and looking up for everyone when I return in February for a couple of weeks.
