A dirty great electric Christmas 'tree' has appeared in Largo 25 de Abril. Elsewhere in town are various lights. These are in Rua 5 de Outubro. Looks rather jolly. Not everyones choice of "tree" but maybe it will stand the wind better than others. I guess the town will need a bit of cheering up at the moment. ------------- It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams |

Similar tree on The Strip and that theme of lights runs from old town to bullring.

Not seen at night but along dual carriageway as in a line thought would give effect of complete circles when viewed all along. In the pic above, I think the nearest pic resembles looking down onto a cocktail with your left eye shut! -------------
