Hi,

I am looking for either self catering accommodation for August 2016. We are are a family of 5 but are interested in somewhere between the old and new town.

We are looking for near the beach rather than around the Parasio/Brisa Sol road.

We used to walk from Oura to the old town and walked past many hotels/Apartments en route but i don't know the name of any.

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Elma Apartments are nice. Near the beach, halfway between Strip and Old Town.

I also agree that Clube Oceano is lovely and they have done a fabulous job with the renovations. I think that most apartments are 1 bedroom and are suitable for only 4 people and the availability of 2 bedroom apartment is very limited. Apartments Elma, which are in the same area are mainly 2 bedrooms. Another option slightly further away, but between old and new are Baracuda apartments They are mainly privately owned. I have seen them on holiday lettings site. I've not stayed there but have been told by locals that they are good quality.

Thanks for all the replies. Gives me plenty to research.

Pyrman, are you a agent? Always dubious about paying funds to Ownersabroad etc . I know you are active in the area as I've seen you on here and TA. So id happier paying someone like yourself who has a good reputation

Thanks

Parque Corcovado is about a mile from the nearest beach.

Sorry I cannot recommend anyone there, no knowledge.
