The first stage starts from Portimão and will run through Albufeira, coming in from Vale de Parra then along the main Avenida dos Descobrimentos between 1130 and 1200 noon on Wednesday 15th. It will leave town via Branqueira on its way towards Vilamoura.

The fourth stage of the race will start in Albufeira on Saturday 18th February. It begins at 0930 with a 'symbolic start' at the marina, then up into and around town to the parking areas at the Câmara. The real race gets going at 1120, heads west out of town along the main road to Vale de Parra, then up through Guia and Messines then all around the hills.

There will inevitably be some disruption to traffic until the race passes.
