I doubt it. There are some pretty strict rules here about recording CCTV images. Obviously they will be recorded for use in court. The existing beach webcam has to state explicitly that images are not recorded.

I remember 20 - 25 years ago when it easy to hack into traffic cameras etc, but the world is a different place now.
