A big fire north of Monchique and the smoke is coming down on the wind and beginning to cover the sky.

One serious burns injury reported and a small number of homes evacuated. It is a remote area around 30 miles from Albufeira so, other than smoke, there is nothing to concern those hereabouts. The wind has changed direction so the sky here is still clear.
