The following does NOT apply to the local Giro buses in Albufeira.

The two local bus companies EVA and Frota Azul are changing their pre paid passes and season tickets. If you have an old pass, for example to travel between Guia or Olhos D'Agua and Albufeira, you will need to get a new one at Albufeira bus station after 31st July.

Apparently these new passes will be rechargeable via a new website or an 'app' but there are no details forthcoming.

The pre paid passes offer a discount of up to 50% on the cash fare paid on board. Monthly season tickets (journeys between two pre defined points) are discounted at 50% of the cash fare and are capped at €40 per month.

HELLO everyone.I bought prepaid bus card to Algarve area.Eva Transport, Frota Azul, 2 more bus compamy good for it. WE will leaving on 20th August, but can't go to other cities with my friends. You can use this cars alone or up to 20 persons. WE left on card more than 70 euro ( around 73 ..) if someone thinking buy same prepaid card or bus passes until staying in Algarbe region than can use this card. MY OFFER 40 EURO i sell so you have more than 30 euro gifts there. WE ARE IN lagos now, let me kbow if somekne wanna buy it.

Ared you sure that there is €70 remaining? The most expensive pass it is possible to buy for 1 month costs €53,80 for ten very long journeys.

Hi, it's prepaid card we put on it 120 euro beacuse we are 6 persons here on vacations, but can't go nowhere now. IT IS GOOD FOR 1 YEAR ( 2022 .08.) WHEN YOU GO BY BUS HERE ITS CHARHE TICKETS FROM CARD

Warning to others. I have never heard of such a ticket. Cash is accepted on buses.

U can buy bus station, and this card u get some less from tickets.if you don't heard from this card that's not mean js not has.. U go to Rodovario terminal station and ask there
. If I can show pictures from card here than I attache
.but no opcion for that
. IT'S called preipad card 4 bus company have on card, and right corner qr code..U can put money there and you get less tickets price ( on the bus more) anyways tomorrow our last day, if someone need, after we go back to home.
