We are thinking of having a week over there around the middle of March next year.

What's the weather usually like around that time of year?...Are we likely to be able to soak up some sun, or is there more chance of it being jumper weather?

Is there any nightlife down The Strip at that time of year, will bars such as Albertus be open?

Cheers for any help/advice! Thumbs Up

Varies a lot over the years. it will be warmer than Hull, average mid March daytime here is around 18 - 20ยบ, but no guarantee it won't rain every now and then.

I don't go over to the strip end much at all, but generally around town the tourist restaurants and bars will be stirring themselves for the summer season, which gets under way at Easter. But Easter next year is 11th April, so you might not find too many places already open. The number of visitors is too few. You may have to make do with the several dozen places used by residents.

Don`t think Albertus closes at all ... mid-March, yes, plenty of folk there, plenty open .. but not all. And there is always a lot open in Santa Eulalia .. as well as Rua Dunfermline area ..

Hotels listed at  www.albufeiraguide.yolasite.com

get yourself a south-facing (usually pool-view, but check) for warmer balcony and accomodation ... can still be a wee bit cool at night, av 9-12
