| Can anyone advise a good bar/ place that will be showing Cricket World Cup Matches next week? - ideally old town /west side of the city but any recommendations for good places to go gratefully received for my cricket-mad husband who will back in the area at the time. Thanks |

How far west? Cabanitas at Vale Parra will have it on several screens for sure. Nice guy, good beer and quite good bar food as well 👍 ------------- Andrew |

Thanks! Didn’t realise Cabanitas would be an option for more than just footie , but it’s ideal in one way as a relatively short way from Salgados ! Still would like to hear about other options in the old town n west city area too though as that would fit better in with wider family

You can ask at the Arte Bar as they are open during the day for the semi finals. Plenty of outside seating from which the TV's can easily be seen. Long way from Salgados though. A problem will be for the final which overlaps with the British F1 Grand Prix which some consider to be a superior event and will show that in preference.
