Apologies if you have seen this before.

I find that my passport, nominally valid to Oct 2019, could become invalid as it was issued in Jan 2009. I'll renew it just in case.

We have the same problem, we replaced old ones earlier than necessary  and on checking with passport office (online) it states we need new ones for our June holiday despite them not expiring until March 2020 (renewed Nov 2009)

Yes, in the worst outcome of deal or no deal the 6 months rule will be applied  ie you must have six months on your passport to travel to Schengen countries.

Another example of blissful ignorance, 99% of people won't take any heed of this and risk being refused entry this summer. Those who voted out probably didn't appreciate it would be one of the consequences.

Where I live over 72% voted out (not that I blame them) and 90% of those do not give one jot about passports because you don't need one to visit Norwich once a year.
And no, I am not joking.

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.
