Good morning guys.

Gent, Rangers, Sonderjyske, Newcastle, Braga, Peterborough I knew they had scheduled training camp here.. let's wait for more info..

Cubsur, can you find with your man if there's some fixtures for next weeks, even if behind closed doors?

Thank you.

"Cubsur, can you find with your man if there's some fixtures for next weeks, even if behind closed doors?"

I will ask.

We do know that if spectators are permitted (partly a decision of the clubs involved and the club hosting the match) admission will be limited to one third of stadium capacity.

Reported a couple of days ago here that Rangers were looking at St.Andrews and some English opponents who use that area for pre-season due to Portugal not on green any more ...

The weather at St Andrw's might be better than it is here!

Makes sense as even 'elite' sportspeople won't be exempt from quarantine when returning from a training camp.

Message received thus :

I have matches but no fans.
I will try to send you fixtures.
Some teams are still not certain to travel with quarantine rules.

Update from my local contact :

Sheff U v Braga & Peterborough v Braga. Might be one more but not fixed yet. [Currently no plans to admit spectators therefore date and time not being made public.]

The matches involving Braga will be staged between 8 and 17 July.

Newcastle cancelled.

I know Rangers play Sonderjyske at the Campus in Quinta but do not have details.

Benfica & Sporting are both in the Algarve not sure if they have matches.

Hull City have been forced to cancel their pre-season training camp for the second time, owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

Grant McCann had originally planned to take the players away for some warm weather training in Portugal, but the travel restrictions placed upon the country earlier this month stopped that in its tracks.

Yes, it's OK to come to Portugal but not to return to UK.

All of our visits from UK bowls clubs this autumn have also been cancelled owing to the uncertainties caused by the constant changes to the UK travel laws.

Thank you guys, for those infos.

Sporting will play here (if there's no more restrictions) against Gent and Angers.

Sheffield and Peterborough still to come or will cancel..?

Luis Castro, Leonardo Jardim, Rui Vitória and others, maybe come to stay a couple days with their new teams..

"Sheffield and Peterborough still to come or will cancel..?"

Nothing definite about either, but under current rules they cannot travel because of quarantine required upon return. Their league season begins on 7th August

I will add any information that I hear.

Rangers will host Real Madrid on July 25, 1800

Just looking on VIP for tonight and they have Benfica - Casa Pia 1900
and Farense - Braga at 2000

Last night, also on VIP, I watched the completely unadvertised uefa tie  TNS - Glentoran which is part of a big push in N.Ireland by a company called 247 tv ... they also did the first leg .. and followed last night with Larne`s tie
