Any info from training camps here?

Just Marseille at the moment. They will have a friendly match in a couple days.

Best regards

Nothing at all. With all the restrictions in place until who knows when, nothing is being publicised.

Fans are not permitted into sports events. With the delayed top leagues in Europe not scheduled to finish until the end of July, their may not be much of a 'pre-season' this year.

If anything come to light, it will be here!

Scottish 20-21 season kicks off in less than 4 weeks time. That should be riveting stuff

I assume in empty stadia. How will the smaller clubs be able to operate in the absence of TV revenue, admission money and bar takings?

Same applies here, even at the second division level where most crowds are numbered in hundreds rather than thousands. That too would be normally starting in a month.

At least the Algarve League has 10 weeks before starting to see if they can function.

But overall the signs for the lower professional leagues and more so semi professional sports are not at all good. I fear there may be little or none for a year, while governments play with statistics.

Only the Premiership kicks off on Aug 1 (we assume .. since SFA have said nothing about the remaining Cup semis and final) .. just six matches, many of which will be on Sky .. so they`ll have an income. They are also setting up season ticket holders to watch the other games at home ... so more `normal`income there (Celtic have 17000 fans on their season waiting list .. they normally fill 60,000 seats, Rangers 51,000). The remaining football is due to start on Oct 17 .. which just happens to be an `old firm` game too .. Sky making a big effort to catch BT,
giving Scots 1630, 1730 and 1800 slots so far ... Celtic and Rangers play in Lyon and Nice next week 16/18 against the French (Lyon recently beat Nice 1-0) and Celtic will play in the Parc des Princes on July 21 against PSG ... no scots fans will be allowed but some French fans will get in.

"...no scots fans will be allowed"

Who would go when 14 days quarantine would be needed upon return? Unless of course based in mainland Europe.

How many will  take out Sky's subscription?  Free internet streams of Sky and other subscription channels are easily found. Picture quality may not be 100% but it's watchable.

Starting the rest in October will make fora  truncated season, fewer home games, lower income.

The Old Firm and other premiership clubs expect to hear tomorrow (Thu 8th) that they are clear to travel to France without `quarantine` .. clubs have a strict testing regime to follow anyway. They also expect to be allowed to play closed-door friendlies from Sat 10th July .. players may have to travel by car within Scotland ..

Income .. full-time players will be furloughed pretty well up to October and every SPFL club has received cash from SFA (uefa) and a multi-millionaire businessman (£50,000 each) ... many clubs have also `downsized` to match ... non-league part-time clubs are raising money in many ways .. some into the six figures .. but generally dont pay wages until the season starts... just expenses, often higher than their wage. We are unlikely to see any clubs going bust in Scotland .. even with our `fake` football pyramid system..

Sky Sports are allowing Premiership clubs to do pay-per-view on all matches that are not on their live schedule .. but subscriptions have to be `higher than normal` ..

At this time spectators are not permitted at sports events. I do not know of any teams visiting Algarve. Even if there were, matches would be in closed stadiums. The top leagues in Portugal plan to start their season on 12 September. The Algarve League plans to begin either at the end of September or early October, conditions permitting.
