Two more games to add to the list :

Portimonense v Getafe Friday 19th July at 1800hrs followed by FC Porto v Real Betis at 2015hrs. Both games at Portimão Stadium. No transport available afterwards of course.

Winners play a final on Sunday 21st at 2015hrs. I didn't see anything about a third place match. If there is anything on the Portimonense website, it is well hidden.

James - I did find a bar not far from the marina one rainy day which had some games on - called Piper's Irish Pub it's on Rua do Prior a couple of streets back. There aren't any 'British' bars in Faro I know of, so the chances of getting any pre season games on Sky etc is minimal.

Thanks Gonzalo. It still amazes me that a football club hosting a fairly important weekend tournament does not even highlight it on its own website!

FULHAM V FC PORTO at Albufeira stadium Tuesday 16th July ko is changed to 20.30hrs.

Admission €15, children under 10 years pay €10.

Tickets 'on sale soon' but the notice on the council website doesn't say where. Now that would be to much to ask, wouldn't it!

That will have fans fighting to get in. No information on the FC Alverca Facebook page and their website doesn't connect.

Anyway Lagoa is a horrible place to watch football.

For those unable to make it - Sport TV are covering this match.

Rangers are playing a Europa League game in Gibraltar on 11th July. Perhaps. Or it might be next Tuesday.

There is only one football pitch in Gibraltar and there is another team that might be playing a Europa League match the same week. UEFA and the clubs are still arguing the toss about who plays when. Just to make things worse, the international Inter island games get under way on Saturday.

Rangers were allocated 960 tickets. All gone. No tickets on sale via home club website.

I won't be here but as and when you know the kick off time...

Bahrain has a Portuguese head coach which is no doubt why they are here.
