I noticed the other day that a lot of the undergrowth has been cleared. It may be just because they had to in compliance with the fire regulations but...   Some other areas haven't been touched.

Took a walK around the site. A lot of trees have been cut down or trimmed and a lot of the undergrowth has been cut back. Maybe something is happening? But there is still that one property where the hedges are being properly maintained.     |

Reported that more undergrowth is being cleared. Some photos taken yesterday evening. I didn't see any evidence of any other work. It may be that the jungle is being removed as per the fire regulations.       |

Would be interesting to see what price tag would be put on these if they came up for sale with the Albufeira housing market being so strong.

We had heard you could buy the entire site for €1. Then a few million to put it right.
Rumours of it being sold to an holiday company two or three years ago seem to have come to nothing.

Yeah I understand buying it for €1 as a business and taking on the debts and building costs, was just thinking they would have a fairly hefty price tag on them if/when they come up for sale.

I did try to identify them on the company website but couldn't find them. Whatever the price, the surroundings are still pretty dismal.

It seems there is big demand from foreign purchasers pushing prices up. Hopefully that will mean Oceanville will finally be finished. |
