Been "cleaning" the pine trees at the back of us this week.
About 8 guys working there cutting, sorting, shredding and carting.
The 2 guys doing the cutting are often 30ft up in the trees with no harness, no helmet and not even a high viz jacket, not that that would do them much good.
They also use a Cherry Picker which they operate with one hand, hold a running chainsaw in the other hand and have a fag in their mouths, all at the same time.
Water is frequently consumed with more than the odd beer chucked in for good measure.
The cuttings are strewn all over the road turning it into one lane rather than the normal two lanes but there are no warning signs and no cones.
Fascinating.

Bet job finished quicker and for much less money than UK. Some road warnings would have been handy........

That sounds like the same lot that did ours about 18 months ago. Think they were called Loste Fluere or something similar. From what I've seen it's all pretty normal in Portugal
I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Yes it`s great isn`t it. it is like when they are doing a bit of work at the roadside say the 125 they throw a few cones down. In England there would be traffic lights that are not synched causing mayhem.
Maybe the weather but on our complex they don`t normally have the water just straight into the beer LOL.

Rules vary depending on who you are and what you are doing. My mate got fined for not having cones out and a taped off area when he was up a step ladder painting the front of his pub...
