Any bands playing that anyone knows of in the next ... year :-0
I don't want a whole heap of abuse.  I don't mean I want to go to the Rock Cafe.

Some bands play at  Portimao etc and the publicity is really crap.
Just wondered if anyone knew of any bands I don't.  

(I only mention Keane cos I fancy Tom Chaplin - I love his tight jeans)
And someone might reply to this thread...

As you said Wendy publicity outside the immediate area there is not. Nobody comes down here much, except in July and August plus whoever they can drag out for New Year.

You might have to go to Lisbon.

Keane's official website says they have no performances lined up, anywhere.

Don't be daft Wendy. Why put anyone decent on when the kids down here will turn up for anyone who can programme a tune into a computer.

Bafo do Baco in Loule has some decent less well known acts on.

The brilliant Lisbon rockabilly band The Dixie Boys play there next Friday.

Perry dont knock it, can you produce a "Tune" on a computer?My youngest does it for a living and makes a decent one.He also plays the Piano and Guitar.

So he's a proper musician who uses a computer then Carol. Not what I was talking about at all. Did you see the opening ceremony to Euro 2016? David Guetta pushing a button and then waving his arms about, THAT is what I am talking about, and that is the c*** that passes for a "live" act half the time over here.

Yes I did see that absolute Naff and yes he is a musician foremost but produces and does remixes its where the money is.
