Hi

We have some friends who are staying at the Boa Vista and have asked me where it is. I don't think I've ever see this hotel and think it is probably past the sol-e-mar towards the marina.

Can anyone advise please?

Thanks
julie

"...it is probably past the sol-e-mar towards the marina."

It is. http://www.algarvebus.info/images/roundabouts.jpg

Look towards the bottom left hand corner.

It is past the Rocamar heading towards the Marina about 10 minutes walk from the square in Albufeira. If you know where the Arte bar is it is near there and as Bob says near the Cemetery on the way to the Marina, hope this helps Cool

As an alternative to guessing you could always refer to the map that Tom posted above Wink

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

It's in a nice location ,away from the noise and a 5/10 minute walk to all the action... arte bar and Victoria bar are worth a visit and cafe Leo's a little further down the road also. Public transport is cheap and frequent enjoy

It's quite a big hotel although you wouldn't think it when standing outside it. The entrance is on the rua samora barros and is only one story high but it streches all the way down to the road below. The lift in the lobby goes down 4 floors to the pool area and then there are about another 4 levels down to the road below where there is a small access gate onto the Rua Sir Cliff Richard.

Red 1 and Red 2 giro buses stop just outside at the Miradouro viewpoint. Red 2 goes direct from Rotary Club roundabout and Dolphins roundabout ... but Red 1 can be picked up at Liberdade terminal (15 and 45, except only the 15 after 2pm Sat, all day Sun or Hol), then goes via Pateo, Marina and Dolphins ...
