Looking for info on the electrification and found this plan ... very exciting, Trams in Albufeira going to and from the airport.

This wild scheme and similar has been on and off the programme for years. Since two buses a day suffice for current transport between Albufeira and the airport I cannot believe such a expense would ever be justified. Not to mention how the trams would get up and down the hills around Albufeira!
