Not 100% on this but I think cars are exempt from road tax after a certain amount of years.
Think it’s 40 years old and the Stag does look to be in that bracket. Can’t go by the ‘G’ reg plate cos the plate is obviously bought for the model of car.

They still have to be taxed, it is free but still has to be renewed every year.
I dont know how long it has been in PT but No it is not legal here as it is not legal in its home country for not having its tax renewed.
