There are also ordinary town taxis - www.taxis-albufeira.pt/en/ which is a co-operative with a call centre. They all speak English. Either way, make sure you have the correct and exact location of the event. If it's the one near Guia, the distance is about 12.5km which at a weekend will cost the best part of €20 in a taxi. Uber may cost less.
