Topic: New webcam Posted: 07/January/2016 at 16:46 |
Enjoying the excellent new webcam on line from the Sol e Mar and The Strip webcam zoomed slightly further in (sky no longer visible). However, the main Fishermans' Beach webcam seems to be iffy at the moment. Offline as I type this. Good that all the webcams now have a 'full screen' button.

Admin, or anyone, can you tell me why on my iPad the pictures from the two current live camera's scroll down the screen all the time? Fine on desktop but iPad, not really watchable. Hope there's a solution? Thanks in advance.

I've found on my iPad if I keep pressing the cam button it eventually stops scrolling, hope this helps.

Have you updated your iPad to iOS 9.2 ? It seems to have fixed this issue. It's working on our iPhone and iPad with this version.

In my kindle, laptop and mobile I see the strip ok. The solemar cam does not move and I cannot see the other beach cam at all. Is this correct??

Yes, the auto-rotation feature of the webcam at Sol e Mar is currently turned off as it is causing some issues with the video feed (bad wiring we believe). We're planning on a replacement soon, so it will be offline for a few days, maybe during next week. Fisherman's beach webcam is offline until we manage to get to it. The restaurant is currently closed, but we're trying to get access to it soon with our technician. The Strip webcam is working okay.

Beautiful picture from the Sol E Mar cam.
