The "attractions" for New Years Eve have been announced.

A local lass done good called Aurea and a bland boy band called D.A.M.A.

I will be in the best place to enjoy it... The Black Forest.

Remember seeing Nelly Furtardo about 10 years ago when she was pretty much at her peak.
Presuambly the cost for someone like that would be pretty prohibitive now.

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

It was 2004 (or actually 2005 by the time she started) and I seem to recall that it didn't finish until gone 3.
Absolute nightmare trying to get a taxi home but somehow we managed it.
Great concert that night though but we went to see her a couple of years later at the NEC.
By this time she had gone more commercial (Maneater etc) via her collaboration with Timbaland, and she was absolutely dire.
One of the few concerts that I've walked out of before the end.
Haven't really heard of anything significant about her since since though.

I think they also had UB40 & Mel C around that time

Ah, different concert, 2007 we saw her at the football stadium, it was advertised as a family show with her on stage at 8.00pm, it was just gone 11 when she came on and finished about 1.20am. She was brilliant but the timing/delay was ridiculous/unfair/unprofessional. There was nothing on whilst we waited and loads of families with younger children left before she even started. That aside, she was, eventually, quality.
