Arrived yesterday evening - please tell me someone else saw the beautiful moon rise?
About 9.45pm, quite low in the sky, stunning golden full moon. |

By this time in 2 week. We will have checked in to the Tropical Sol, visited Pingo Doce for a few supplies (Hic!!)Wife will no doubt be round the pool with rest of Family and I will be ironing all our holiday clothes and hanging them in the wardrobes ready for use over the next 10 days. By 7:00pm we will be in our Favourite restaurant on the Strip " Costa Rica". A few drinks will be downed as we move from bar to bar working our way up to end the night in the Blues Bar where we will be aiming for another victory in the Sunday quiz.

The place is rammed at the moment, if you want to dine out I'd suggest booking in advance!

Excellent news that the Town is " Rammed" We are not Party Animals (being in our fifties)but love being surrounded by others enjoying themselves. Nothing worse than being the only people sat in a Bar whilst your on holiday

The Tropical Sol is becoming way too popular!
We were there last month for our 14th visit and will return on September 3rd for our 15th stay. Over recent years we are having to book our next stay at Tropical Sol as soon as we return from each trip, otherwise we find it is all booked up. Only 75 rooms of course, so space is limited. Can't fault the place, except perhaps their charge for use of wi-fi (€10 per week) when most other establishments now offer this for free. |
