A trick, or maybe its me that I think some people pull is, when the boarding staff call passengers to queue. Speedy boarders on the left, all other passengers on the right.
And you get someone coming from the back of the queues joining speedy boarders, only to be told they have not purchased speedy boarding and go back and wait. What do they do,they dont go to the back or middle, but wait at the front of the queue.

Easyjet have just added a further month to the booking calendar - you can now book up to around the 25th of October 2014.

Hi All
Quick question.
We are travelling to Albufeira in May school hols, we are looking for airports in NW England or South Scotland. I have been watching the prices and they are slowly going up. My question is, do the airlines put on maore flights as these ones they are selling now fill up? Or in the worst case, are these all the flights that are available so I had best get myself into gear and get booking.
I never travelled in school hols before, but now have kids to think about.
Help would be appreciated!

Flights are rarely added to the schedules, though some do have additional schedules in high summer ... LIVERPOOL (Ryanair) looks the lowest fare at the moment in early May ... and you can`t tell if they are going to be full or half empty, with most airlines and tour companies up and running . I always book my flight, then my hotel, then my transfer .. and if it is just a week, you`ll want to do the return at the same time.
With kids, you are restricted to dates ... so make the flights more important than the hotel .. it is much easier to economise on the latter with a family ... and there is plenty to choose from. www.albufeiraguide.yolasite.com/ for hotels listings. Indeed we are all hoping for a good year in Albufeira .... seasons greetings to all. |

Most airlines, and specifically Easyjet & Ryanair, do not normally put on extra flights once their schedules have been released. Prices will continue to go up, especially after Xmas when people start thinking about holidays. Yes, get booked up asap. |

In the best of traditions, the opposite is true regarding Ryanair from Dublin during the busier summer months. Ryanair certainly do put extra flights on as demand increases. Two flights often turns out to be four.
The winter schedule seems to be set in stone. Predicting Ryanair prices for the summer is easy. Book early is the best advice. Winter prices are more variable up until a few weeks before departure when the price seems rise frequently. I learned about the skyscanner app from this forum and it is great. |

Booked Monarch from Leeds/Bradford 22 February-6 March £70 return bit more expensive than usual but thats the way it goes.
Does anyone know what the procedure is when you don`t prebook seats with Monarch. Do you get allocated at check in or is it a fight for the seats that are left. Normally fly Ryanair so accustomed to a bit of argy bargy on boarding . |

Booked with Norwegian Air from Gatwick 21/6/2014 to 5/7/2014. £135 return with reserved seating, in the present climate we thought had to be booked, never used Norwegian Air but they cant be worse than the others.
