We only have sleet this morning but this image was taken less than 10 miles from me half an hour ago. Winter is just around the corner ❄❄

Back in Eastbourne after two windy days up near Sevenoaks. It's a bit warmer than the other day, but still only 9º rising to maybe 14 later.

Indeed, it could even hit 20ºC!! Can't be right, what with it being a holiday weekend and me with tickets for the cricket on Sunday.

I sometimes wonder why you bother to come here Wink

Sunny day in prospect here in Canterbury after a misty start. Could even be 15ºC later. I hope to see Kent beat Hampshire and also have a beer or two. I offer both as reasons!

Very foggy here this morning, starting to clear with 17ºC expected later. Quite windy last night, felt quite cold.

Yet another sunny day in prospect with temperatures for us in the North East up to about 22 degrees forcast for Saturday, perhaps a little less nearer the East coast with onshore winds.

I don't know what happened to April showers but the garden is bone dry as it hasn't rained for weeks. Even the Northern League football season ends this Saturday having had precious few postponements, unlike last winter.

Likewise here in N Norfolk. Been home 7 weeks now and it's only rained on 2 days during that time. And even then it wasn't a lot.
Been pretty good here all week with lots of sun. A bit chilly in the mornings but very nice later on during the day.
We are currently on 17.
UK forecast is hotter than the Algarve over the next 4 or 5 days.
And we've got plenty of petrol.
What's not to like?

Sunny day here in Carshalton, Surrey, 20ºC forecast for later which is indeed a little bit hotter than Albufeira is expected to be.

My mate Keith with whom I stayed last night has just set out his barbecue kit.

Back in Eastbourne where it is fairly windy and around 10ºC but a sunny day and 22ºC is forecast. But the wind also means lots of pollen, sneezing head off!

Thousands of visitors take to the beach in Brighton and Hove as sunny and hot weather helps populate the seaside resorts
