Not too bad at the moment. Her Majesty sent me an extra €10.79 last week compared with January and fully €30,40 more than in December. Now if there was only somewhere to enjoy this largesse...

Maybe I can now afford a buy a bottle of vinho tinto that costs more than €1,09!

For me it all depends on what the rate is on the 16th of each month.

Much more to do with the `lockdown exit` share boom this time ... almost hit 1.17 early doors .. mainly foreigners investing seeing a good chance to make some dough on a variety of travel and hospitality shares. Holiday and flight bookings are back in the big time ..

Those of us receiving pensions from the UK are positively dancing in the streets. At least the extra will pay for the customs duty and adminstration charges for my books.

Glad to hear it Cubsur. Expats with UK pensions have been suffering a long time from the crap £ exchange rate.  I hope it continues.
It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams

Euro at 1.1671 this afternoon ... thought I would buy 1000 when I could get 1.50 from the usual online agencies ... but it is above that, so just keeping an eye ... could get better at this rate ..

I shall await with interest what I receive from Her Majesty next week. I am no expert but with tourist travel not happening I suspect the 'ordinary' rate is getting closer to the big commercial rates. Once European holiday travel can be resumed, tourist rates will fall because there will be tourists to exploit.
