For  the record 1.07 € to the £ in town yesterday for cash.

Maybe the message will eventually get through that it is always better to change £ to € in the UK and that a prepaid card is better still.

Best lay in some Euros now before it slides down to parity ie 1 to1 as it was briefly a few years ago.

My bet - £ won't be worth beans after March 29th, if not before. International financiers run the world economy, not governments. And they don't like what the squabbling is leading to.

Gloom, doom.

Looks like we've picked the right time to sell up.
1 for 1 over the next 3 to 6 months would be an absolute bonus for us as it means that we could afford to sell at a competitive price, get a quick sale and still be quids in.

Hope it plummets over the next couple of weeks as we transfer the funds of our sale back to the UK
Really not liking this 1.16 malarky at all
Another drop to 1.10 would do fine

1.139 here, at the Post Office of all places.
It won't last.  The bag of cats we call our government will soon knock the bottom out of the £ once more.
God help the UK and all who sink in her.
It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams
