And another pleasant morning, not so windy as yesterday and a touch warmer. Temperature at 0840am is 17.5º, blue sky with just one or two little clouds very high and a moderate wind from the south. It will be a little windier later and the clouds will thicken during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 24º. It will be a calim night, 16º or so at midnight, 14 or 15 pre dawn.

Tomorrow and the week to come won't see much change but, shock horror, the ten day forecast is showing a good chance of a rainy weekend following.

Blue sky overhead, high cloud out to sea. Temperature at 0850am is 17.5º, wind is very light. It will be a cloudy day, very little wind un til early evening, maximum temperature 24 or 25º. This evening it will become fairly windy, from the north, so cooling down quite rapidly to 17 or 18º by midnight.

Not much is expected until Friday, when rain is shown to be coming our way with Saturday likely to be particularly wet.

The day is dawning nicely, sun coming up into blue sky with jsut a bit of cloud on the horizon. Temperature at 0800 is 16.5º, wind is very light.

It wil be sunny day, maximum 24º and it won't be too windy. Tonight will be a little cooler than recently, 15 or 16º at midnight.

As I said yesterday, little change until Friday when a few days of rain are forecast to be moving across the region, with the weekend likely to be rather wet. Temperature will fall to around 22º at best.

A bright and sunny day, make the most of it! Blue sky, very little wind, temperature at 0835am 18.1º . Expecting a high today of 24 or 25º at lunchtime before a change in wind direction cools things down for the afternoon and evening.

Cooler tomorrow, 22º at best but still sunny and dry. Perhaps clouding over during the afternoon.

Friday is likely to be a rainy day, especially during the late afternoon and evening, with a yellow warning now out for persistent and sometimes heavy rain from around 6pm. That yellow warning runs through the night into Saturday. Rain is forecast more or less all day Saturday with a chance of heavy thundery showers during the afternoon. Much cooler too, down to 19 or 20º daytime. It will be quite windy as well.

Fairly pleasant this morning, mostly blue sky with a bit of haze out to sea. Temperasture at 0900 is 18.4º, wind is very light. It might cloud over a bit later with the maximum temperature only about 22º, which is the average for late October. it will stay dry today.

The night will be fairly cool, down to 16º perhaps. Light showers are likely to be moving across the region from early Friday morning. Friday will be a mix of showers and sunny intervals right through the day, maximum temperature 19 or 20º. It will become windy later in the day which be bringing more rain, sometimes heavy, on Friday night and right through Saturday.

Sunday is also likely to be pretty wet, but from Monday the showers will die down but it will seem pretty cold compared to the last few weeks.

16c is forecast to be our high here in NE England, quite mild for the time of year. It's all relative I suppose.

Update 0820 - raining hard from low cloud. Not very nice at all.

Lots of dark cloud this morning, it's warm but rain is on the way. Temperature at 0740am is 18.6º, wind is light. There are some showers heading our way from the south-west, one or two look fairly heavy but may not last long. This afternoon could see some more showers, maximum temperature around 21º.

Tonight and tomorrow are going to be very windy, lots of rain and possibly thundery showers in the mix. Sunday doesn't look too good either.

Fairly unpleasant. it's not actually raining at the moment but it has been and more is on the way. It is also quite windy. Temperature at 0845am is 19.6º. It could be raining more or less all day, it will be windy and maximum temperature no more than 22º.

It could raining on and off all night and all day tomorrow, with similar temperatures. Sunday night should see some improvement, there will probably be more showers on Monday but after that we will again have dry and mostly sunny weather.

Warm but wet. It's raining steadily from low, dark, clouds. Temperature at 0810am is 19.5º, everything feels and is very damp. It's going be showery until mid-afternoon, perhaps with the odd sunny interval. Top temperature 22º. The wind and ain should be past duing the afternoon, leading to a dry and fairly calm evening and night. Those of you out on your brooomsticks won't have any roblems.

But rain will return during the early hours of the morning ahead of another cloudy day of showers and wind. Tuesday should be a nicer day all round, with the days to follow expected to be cool (18 or 19º) but sunny and dry. Nights will be cold next week.

Damp and grey. It has stopped raining for the while. More is on the way, but should pass by lunchtime. Temperature at 0740am is 19.5º, wind is moderate from the north west.  High today 21 or 22º, the afternoon and evening wil be cloudy, but dry and less windy. Low tonight 14 or 15º.

The rest of the week should be dry but much colder than it has been, 17 or 18º in the daytime, around 10º at night, possibly colder.

Very cloudy but dry. Temperature at 0735am is 17.1º, wind is light. it will stay cloudy today and won't be very warm , maximum 19º perhaps. There is a 50% chance of some light rain tonight and the temperature could fall as low as 13 or 14º inland, 15 or 16º along the coast.

The next few days look like being much the same but colder at night, 16 - 18º daytime , 8 - 10º at night but probably staying dry.

Bright this morning with a fresh breeze. A few scattered clouds, temperature at 0840am is 16.9º.  it will stay fairly breezy today, maximum temperature 18 or 19º, which is about average for the time of year. It's not expected to rain. It could be fairly cold tonight, as low as 10º inland, maybe 12 or 13 along the coast.

No real change is forecast for the next few days, so it's back to mainly sunny, dry days with a bit of wind. Daytimes 18 - 20º, nights 9 - 12º
