A pleasant morning so far, some high cloud and barely any wind. Temperature at 1020am is 20.3º. It will be cloudy most of the day but with the wind coming from the south or south west it will be quite warm, possibly 25 or 26º later.

Tonight will be calm and quite warm also, probably 19 or 20º.  Tomorrow will be nice and sunny, probably 27º but afterwards it will start cooling down to more normal mid October temperatures in the low 20's. Rain is forecast for next weekend.

It will be no surprise to you that September 2020 was the hottest recorded in recent times, with average temperatures in Portugal 1.11º higher than previous averages since 1981. It was also one of the driest Septembers on record.

They day is dawning with a clear sky and barely any wind. Temperature at 0800 is 19.1º.

It will be a sunny day , with a light wind from the south bringing maximum temperature of 27 or 28º. The wind will be a little stronger tonight but it will still be warm at around  17º.

Tomorrow and Tuesday will be a little cloudy but still around 27º. Cooler weather comes along from Wednesday. Daytimes will be in the mid 20's and only 12 - 14 at night. Next weekend could be rainy.

Bright and breezy this morning ahead of a nice day. Temperature at 0915am is 20.2º under a clear sky. It will be cloudy later with temperature rising to 26 or 27º, way above average for mid October. There will be a light but steady breeze all day.

Tonight will be colder than it has been, down to 15 or 16 perhaps.

Another nice warm day is expected tomorrow, then it will start to cool down to more normal temperatures in the low 20's. It will stay dry until at least the weekend.

A hot sunny day is on the way.  Temperature at 0830 is 17.4º, there is a slight wind and clear blue sky. It will be sunny all day, with the temperature reaching 26 or 27º, perhaps even a touch hotter. It will become windy later in the day.

That wind will be bringing colder air from the north. Tonight could feel fairly cold, 13 or14º. Tomorrow will also be nice and sunny but nowhere near as warm, 23 at best. The following three days will be cloudy but should stay dry, rain is not now expected until Monday.

And another bright morning, but is is definitely starting to cool down. Temperature at 0825am is 16.1º, there is a steady breeze from the north.

It will be fairly windy all day but clear and sunny. Maximum temperature 23 or 24º. It will become fairly cold tonight, between 12 and 14º with the wind making it feel colder.

The current forecast tells the same story until Monday, when the chance of some rain is there and then for next Tuesday and Wednesday you should expect rain.

Brrr! Cooler again today, but bright and sunny. Temperature at 0945am is 15.8º, there is a fairly stiff breeze from the north-west. It will be a sunny day but temperature unlikely to exceed 22º, feeling colder in the wind.

A cold night is forecast, it could be as low as 11º in sheltered places. It will be very much the same tomorrow and over the weekend. A change in wind direction is possibly going to bring rain late on Monday and almost certainly wet weather will be with us on Tuesday and Wednesday.

It's another sunny but cold morning. Temperature at 0900 is 14.2º, there is a light breeze.

There will some cloud cover later, the temperature is not expected to be above 22 or 23º. There will be some wind but not so much as recently. Tonight will again be cold, down to 11º in some places.

The weekend will be similar to today. From Monday afternoon, rain is very likely until Friday.

Bright and sunny, 14.6º at 0845am. There is just a very light wind. It might turn cloudy later, top temperature no more than 22º, average for the time of year.  It will stay dry today and tomorrow, make the most of it!

Tonight will once again become fairly cold, down to 12º.  Similar day tomorrow, a bit windier later in the day though. The general wind direction will be shifting to come from the south and south west, bringing wet weather from probably around Monday afternoon. There could be some thunder and lightning early on Tuesday, almost certainly Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be rather wet.

It's a bit cloudy this morning and will be all day. Temperature at 0850am is 15.3º, there is a light wind from the south east..

The wind will increase later. Today's maximum temperature won't be much more than 22º, maybe 23º if the sun breaks through the clouds. The wind direction means a fairly warm night ahead, 18 or 19º.

Tomorrow will start OK if rather cloudy but rain will be arriving during the afternoon and could be quite heavy come the evening. Temperatures will be similar to today. Tuesday is going to be wet and very windy at times. The rest of the week, until Sunday, will also likely have quite a bit of rain

A grey and damp feeling morning. Rain is on the way. Temperature at 0850am is 18.6º, there is a breeze from the south-east. It will stay cloudy al day, top temperature 22º. Rain is moving towards the area. Forecast says it will arrive during the afternoon. It is likely to be raining from then on right through the night and all day tomorrow. The reason is 'Depression Barbara'. Not quite a tropical storm, but pretty bad.

It won't be cold tonight, 18 or 19º at worst. Tomorrow is going to be wet and very windy all day with a chance of some heavy and thundery bursts of rain. Wind gusts could exceed 100kph up in the hills. Sea will be rough.

The temperature will be fairly irrelevant, maybe 20º at best. Wednesday and Thursday are likely to be wet as well. Friday and Saturday should, on the whole, see drier but cooler weather.

Nasty, horrible, wet and grey morning. Raining steadily from low cloud and plenty more of that to come. It's not cold though, temperature at 0840am is 20.1º.

It's going to be raining all day. Although the wind is fairly moderate just now, the peak of the stormy weather this afternoon will bring with it much stronger winds, around 6okph with gusts perhaps of 120kph. Seas will be very rough. It won't be a day to go out for a walk!

The wind will gradually die down tonight, the temperature will fall to around 18º.

Tomorrow and most of Thursday are  going to be wet also, but not so windy. There should be nicer weather on Friday and Saturday.

It was. The showers became very heavy and squally during the afternoon. Wind gusts of 81kph (50 mph) were recorded and 29mm (just over an inch) of rain fell during the day. We do need a lot more rainy days during the winter if water shortages are to be avoided next year.

Today has dawned still cloudy and grey, it's not raining at the moment. Temperature at 0810am is 17.1º. the wind is light. It looks from the radar that today's rain will be in short but sometimes heavy showers from around lunchtime through the remainder of the day. Maximum temperature 20ºc at best. Tonight will be colder than recently, down to around 15º.

Another showery day is expected tomorrow, Friday could be better, but still a chance of rain. The weekend will be a mix of sunshine and showers.

Update 1700 - the rain has so far passed by like this one at around 4pm.

It's fairly bright this morning, just a few clouds away ion the distance. Temperature at 0930am is 18.1º with a light wind.

It should a mainly dry day, cloudy at times. There are some showers coming our way for this afternoon, up from from the south-west. Maximum temperature no more than 20º. Tonight it could be fairly cold, down to 11 or 12º.

Friday and Saturday should be nice days, mostly sunny and dry and around 20 or 21º.. Sunday not so good as a weather front is likely to bring rain and wind during the afternoon.

Well the showers yesterday passed around us in all directions. It's going to be a nice day today although perhaps not very warm.

It's bright and sunny at the moment, temperature at 0900 is 16.7º There is very little wind. It's going to turn cloudy later and won't be very warm, 19 maybe 20º if the sun comes through. No rain is forecast. Tonight will be fairly cold in sheltered places, down to 11 or 12º.

Tomorrow should be similarly fine and sunny. However, rain is quite likely for the Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon.
