It has been fairly grey so far this morning, but the cloud is just starting to break up and the sun is coming through.

Temperature at 0940am is 16.1º, there is a light wind. There are a few scattered showers around to the south. Chances are we might have one or two later, especially this afternoon.  Maximum temperature 19 or 20º. Tonight 14 or 15, should be dry.

Tomorrow and Monday will be more or less the same as today, but less chance of any rain. Not so for Tuesday onward. An area of low pressure to the west will almost certainly bring some pretty wet weather for the rest of the week.

Easter holidays, had they happened, pretty much a washout therefore.

Bright and sunny, a few high clouds. Chance of a shower this afternoon.

Temperature at 0945am is 16,5º, rising to perhaps 20 or 21 this afternoon. It is expected to become more cloudy this afternoon and with that a chance of a shower or two. It won't be cold tonight, down to around 14º.

A similar day is forecast for tomorrow, but after that the rest of the week is going to be mainly wet and windy.

It won't have escaped notice that it was warmer yesterday in London than it was here. Dark sky this morning in Albufeira, but it's not likely to rain - yet.

Not so warm either today. Temperature at 0820am is 14.2º, there is a light breeze. It's not going to be too bad a day, cloudy at times though with a chance of a shower later. Maximum temperature 18 or 19 during breaks in the cloud.

Tonight will be a bit cooler than it has been, down to 12 or 13 with rain coming in during the small hours. Then until the weekend it's going to be mostly windy and wet, little or no sunshine. You will not be missing anything!

It's been a bright start to the day but skies are darkening with rain on the way from the south.

Temperature at 0845am is 16.1º, the wind is fairly light at the moment. Showers are coming from the south for later this morning. Some could be heavy with a chance of thunder and lightning. The wind will increase and it could be quite stormy at times all day and well into the night. Maximum temperature 17 or 18º, which probably doesn't matter much in the circumstances.

Wet and windy then through the night and for much of tomorrow. More showers and rain are expected on Thursday. Things should improve a bit from Friday.

Well most of the rain yesterday steered away from us but not during the night. Heavy showers, high wind and occasional claps of thunder kept us awake. The worst seems to be over, but I can see one more large black cloud approaching.

Temperature at 0800 is 15.1º, it is fairly windy and looks like it is about to start raining again. It's likely to rain on and off and be pretty windy until this afternoon. Maximum temperature around 18º. It won't be too bad tonight, feeling damp but fairly warm at 16º but tomorrow looks like being fairly horrible and wet, Friday also.

Blowing half a gale and lashing down with rain. Set to be so for a few hours yet.

Temperature at 0805am is 14.5º. Low and dark clouds fill the sky. Pleasant it is not. The radar shows a long line of heavy rain crossing the area from south to north. The rain could last until lunchtime. It's warm air though, temperature could reach 19 or 20 even with the cloud and rain.

Rain will ease off during the afternoon. It will be a warm night, 16 or 17º. More rain is likely during the night and through tomorrow. Saturday should be a better day then prospects for next week mostly sunny and dry, small chance of isolated showers.

Not too bad at the moment. It's been raining but is dry now. A few clouds around, with a chance of a shower or two later this morning.

Temperature at 0825am is 16.5º, there is very little wind. There is an area of rain coming from the south but most will pass to  the east of us.  There might be a short shower later this morning. This afternoon and evening will be cloudy but dry. Maximum temperature 19 or 20. It will be colder tonight than it has been lately, down to 12 or 13.

The weekend should be mostly sunny and dry, temperature up around 22. Then more rain is likely on Monday and Tuesday.

A tornado was reported north of Loulé early on Wednesday morning - details at http://www.ipma.pt/pt/media/noticias/news.detail.jsp?f=/pt/media/noticias/textos/tornado_20200415.html

Very unusual and a mark of the unsettled weather we have been experiencing this past couple of weeks.

Today and tomorrow look like being quiet days by contrast.  Cloudy but dry, the wind will be coming from the north and could be quite strong at times. Daytime temperature could be 21 even 22º when the sun's out. Night-time could be a little colder than it has been, down to 12 or 13º.

That will change during Monday. Another low pressure system coming from the south west will be bringing more rain to the region followed by more days of unsettled weather.

A bright and sunny morning here, hardly a cloud in the sky. Very welcome and definitely a day for a walk. Temperature at 0845 is 15.3º, there is hardly any wind at the moment.

Wind is coming from the north-west and will become much stronger later. Maximum temperature 21º under some scattered cloud. It will stay dry today. Wind direction means a colder night than lately, down to 11 or 12 in some sheltered spots.

More cloud, wind and rain is coming tomorrow, mainly in the afternoon and early evening. It will be noticeably cooler, maybe only15 or 16º. Tuesday doesn't look to nice either but  after that it should be better although Wednesday might be very windy at times.

It is fairly bright at the moment but cloud is building up. An area of rain is heading our way from the west. A weather warning is out for later in the day for high winds and heavy showers possibly with hail and thunder.

Temperature at 0825am is 16.2º, wind is light at the moment. Maximum today 18 or 19 but the rain is expected to arrive from around 1100am and could be with us for the rest of the day and well into the night.

Once this passes, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday should be fairly pleasant with temperature up around 23º. More showery days after that however.

It's been wet and windy during the pre dawn hours, but that seems to be almost over. Maybe a shower or two later but most of the day will be dry but cloudy.

Temperature at 0825am is 14.1º, so rather cooler than of late. There are a lot of clouds out to sea, carrying rain for the eastern area of the Algarve. It will stay fairly windy all day,. there will be quite a lot of cloud and maximum temperature no higher than 19o or 20.

It will be cold again tonight, down to 12 or 13º. Then Wednesday and Thursday should be mostly sunny, dry and a bit warmer but still quite windy, coming from the north and north-west.

A change in wind direction after Thursday brings the prospect of more rain for Friday and Saturday.

Bright and sunny, not a cloud in the sky. Looks like being a fairly nice day today.

Temperature at 0850am is 15.0º, it is a bit breezy coming still from the north. It should be sunny most of the day, with temperature rising to 22 or 23º before it starts to cloud over during the afternoon and evening. It will stay dry tonight, temperature will fall to around 13º.

Tomorrow will be cloudy at times, but dry and also around 22 or 23º.  For Friday, a change in wind direction could bring some some rain later in the day and then over the weekend there is a 50/ 50 chance of showery spells.

High but thin clouds are covering most of the sky and will be with us most of  the day.  A warm wind will be coming from the south east, it will not rain today.

Temperature at 0820am is 14.0º, the wind is very light. Maximum temperature today 23º if the sun breaks through the clouds for long enough. Not too bad tonight, down to 14 - 16º.

Tomorrow will be more or less as today but with a small chance of some rain  later in the day. Saturday and Sunday will be a bit cooler. The wind will shift to come from the north and north-west possibly bringing some light showers with it.
