Well I hope the weather in Albufeira is better than up here in Coimbra.

It is grey, wet and about 5C.

Have a nice day.

Who can tell me that the weather in Albufeira is better than what it is where I am in Coimbra?

It couldn't be any worse - I can't see the sky, it is raining hard and is about 6C. And it's set in for the day. Bah!

The rain did relent for a couple of hours around lunchtime but returned with a vengeance during the afternoon and I now have very wet shoes to dry out before the morning!

According to various weather websites down in the Algarve it is supposed to 16C and just a bit cloudy. Is that so?

Today it is grey and raining and it looks like it will stay this way for the whole day, large bunch of rain clouds blowing in from the west, still the temp will hover around the 15c mark not bad for December.

On a different note, I can see that they have erected a inflatable  start/finish line outside the Camara, don't know if its a marathon or a cycle race that will be going on but what ever it is they are going to get wet.

Well yes rain for a change! For the three days I was in Coimbra it was only dry for about 4 hours on Firiday.

Very grey, wet and windy here as Exiled Bee says but at least it's warm rain. Not that the runners will appreciate it.

Well, just to cheer up those of you enjoying blue skies and sunshine in the UK, down here in Albufeira at 2pm Sunday there is a band of nasty, grey, wet and windy weather sweeping across. I can only just see the Marina out of my window, it is raining hard and generally not very pleasant.

This is supposed to pass over us today and nice weather returning by tomorrow, when the temperature is supposed to 18C.

Not much consolation when I shall be going to an public house in about an hour and will get rather wet in the process I fear.

11am Monday and it is a very respectable 16C outside. Sunshine and some cloud about but it should stay dry today.

It's not very nice here today. Grey and black clouds all over. Wind moderate but direction all over the place so whether it will rain, who knows. The radar shows a lot of showers around and about. Current temperature 12C/53F which won't get much higher with the sun hidden.

It did brighten up yesterday but got more and more windy as the day went on. Last night it was very windy, leaves all over the place this morning.

This morning dawned with 8c/46F, wind has died down quite a bit. Fairly bright blue skies out there.

Today we are looking at a high of around 14C/58F but a strong northerly wind (gusts of between 50 and 60mph) will make it feel colder. It should stay dry.

Tomorrow should be similar but possibility of light rain by Friday.

Bright blue skies, a bit windy and currently 13C/56F at 1230..

No rain around at the moment.

The local forecast says it will become cloudy with showers over the weekend.

True and there is more on the way! There is a band of heavy showers to the north and it is being driven towards the Algarve by a strong northerly wind. So be ready for some heavy hits later.

At 8am it was 9C/48F some cloud around and quite windy. Forecast high will be around 13C/56F but a very high possibility of heavy showers as said.

Absolutely! It is nasty out there. Finishing the weekly chores, no point in doing any washing as it won't get dry.

Grey, raining hard and 12C/52F and, yes, it is set in for the day by the look of things. The weather alert says we will have sustained winds of between 40 and 60km ph with gusts up to 100km ph or around 60mph in English money.
