well said Avril our fav Albufeira detective has been sorely missed good style. Hope the sun is beaming out for him when he arrives home tomorrow, H'es a lovely guy & when you meet him in person you will know what I mean.

845am here in sunny Albufeira and it 25C/77F on the heat gauge.
Forecast high is 30C but it will feel a lot hotter than that, especially in town. There's no wind to speak of.
It should stay dry, although the radar does show some showers out to sea.

Will someone reassure me that sunshine will continue for the whole of August please. We arrive on Sunday for 2 weeks. Just can't wait even though it will be our 4th visit of the year.

Hmmm - it's very misty this morning at 0845. I can hardly see 200 yards!
Temperature 22C/72F. Forecast high 28C/83F and dry. The sun should burn off the mist soon enough.
To answer the other question, if last year is anything to go by, this weather lasted right through August and September until the heavens opened on 30th September.

Well it was bad enough in France so I thought I would treat you all!
The fog has gone and it is now 27C/80F but quite windy so it feels cooler.

No fog today although it is a bit hazy looking out to sea and there are a few clouds. No wind.
Current temperature 23C/73F and today's highs will be as yesterday.

Good morning campers!
Today has dawned bright and clear, light breeze and 22C/70F on the clock. Forecast high 25C/77F, a touch cooler than recent days but perfectly Ok nevertheless. Should stay dry.
Rather a different picture back in blighty I fear!
