It's there sneezy, first post on previous page.

Talking weather, I've been on the F1 site today, five teams are at the new racing circuit just north of Portimao and they all confirm the wet and cold conditions are severley compromising what they expected to be 'warm' weather conditions for their winter testing.

The picture was one I took a few days ago. The scene has been repeated several times since, grey, cold and generally not very nice.

Today though it's bright and sunny for a pleasant change. Cold though, only 8C at 915am. It will warm up to maybe 14 or 15 later (that's 60F) but there are a few showers around, so it might not stay dry. No wind at the moment but will freshen up from the south-west later.

It will get warmer Thursday and Friday but rain will return.

I'll bet the F1 teams would like some dry weather but if they had looked at the charts they would have seen that January averages over 3" of rain.

Well after yesterday's bright but cold interlude we have another grey, wet miserable morning here in Albufeira. Raining steadily, low cloud so once again I can barely see down to the marina. Quite windy as well, from the south west.

It's not cold (12C/54F) but very wet and the signs are it will be like this for several hours yet.

More rain is forecast for Friday and Saturday.

It's the worst winter weather in these parts for 60 years we are told.

Well today it's another grey, murky day here in Albufeira. The fog (low cloud really) is again blotting out the marina. There are another group of showers heading our way from the west, borne on a fairly stiff breeze. I don't think it will rain for as long or as hard as it did yesterday but it still won't be very pleasant.

Current temperature is 14C (57F) and it might get a bit warmer if the sun comes out. Some chance.

Saturday looks like it's going to start off similar, improving as the day goes on. We are promised clearer skies and a bit of sun from Sunday onwards.

Huh! It's been raining hard during the early hours and there is more to come. Yesterday wasn't too bad, at least it stayed dry most of the time.

Current temperature (9am) is 13C/55F, wind from the north-west bringing more heavy showers as the day goes on. These showers should die out by tonight and we are promised a couple of dry days Monday and Tuesday. A bit of sun as well.

The sun's out - hooray! But don't cheer too much as there are some showers around so it could be wet later. There were a couple of heavy downpours late yesterday afternoon and during the evening but most of the rain passed us by. Today could well be much the same.

Current temperature 11C/52F rising to 14 or 15 (60F) but it might not feel as warm with a stiff wind coming from the north west. That wind might bring a shower or two later.

Tomorrow and Wednesday are expected to be similar although the showers and generally unsettled weather may moderate as the week goes on.

|Yesterday turned out to be reasonably pleasant if a bit windy. It did stay dry apart from one isolated and very short spit.

Today it started a bit grey but the sun is out now. it's currently 12C/53F and will probably hit 15 or 16C/60F this afternoon. It's still fairly windy and still from the north-west. There are some scattered showers around, so if we're unlucky it will rain at some point. It will be cold tonight, down to around 7C/45F.

Tomoorw looks like being a bit brighter but clouds return on Thursday.
