Rather cloudy and quite windy this morning, but the sun is breaking through.  Temperature at 0900 is 12.0º.  It will be a dry day, windy and not very warm with maximum temperature 13º. Tonight could feel really cold, 6º after midnight and feeling even colder in the wind. The next few days will see little change, maybe not quite so cold but pretty windy.

Brrrr! Temperature at 0900 is 9.4º, very light wind, mostly blue sky. It will be both windier and cloudier later, maximum temperature 13 or 14º but feeling colder in the wind. By midnight it will be back down to 9 or 10º. Tomorrow should be a bit warmer, perhaps 17 or even 18º by the afternoon, but quite windy again with a small chance of a shower. The weekend will be mostly sunny, 15 - 17º daytime, below 10º at night. By Monday even colder at night, forecast says 4º! The cause is a large area of high pressure sitting over the Azores generating a fairly strong airflow of cold wind from the north and north west. Situation could last for another week.

Quite cloudy this morning but a lot warmer than yesterday. Temperature at 0800 is 12.3º, there is a steady breeze from the north west. It should be a dry day today but there is a chance of a shower this afternoon. Maximum temperature 17 or 18º. It won't be so cold tonight either, down to 1o or 11º, but the wind will make it feel colder.

Weekend will be cloudy with sunny intervals, daytime 16 to 18º, night 10 or 11º but the outlook for early next week is cold, could be as low as 4 or 5º at night and no more than 14º during the day. It's the typical dry, clear but cold winter weather setting in.

Fairly cloudy again this morning, but not cold. Temperature at 0810am is 13.3º. There is still the steady wind from the north-west. The cloud will clear away soon, leaving a sunny day with maximum this afternoon of 18 or even 19º. It will be windy though all day.

A slight change in wind direction through the night will bring much colder air from inland for the next few days. Temperature tonight could fall to 8 or 9º, tomorrow will be sunny but not very warm at 14 or 15º maximum during the day, down to 4 or 5º at night here on the coast. Colder still inland. That's going to be the situation for next week. Clear sunny days around 14º, cold nights and no rain.

Bright and breezy this morning. It's going to be dry and sunny day, but not very warm.

Temperature at 0845am is 10.9º. It will be windy all day, maximum temperaure 14 or 15º. Tonight is going to be the first of several very cold nights - cold for here that is. Low tonight 5º, feeling colder if you are out in the wind or away from the coast.

All this week is expected to be the same. 12 or 13º in the daytime, down to 7 or 8º by midnight and just 4 or 5º in the pre dawn hours, even colder inland. Places like Monchique, up in the hills, will have night-time temperatures below freezing.

Bright and sunny but cold. Temperature at 0950am is 8.3º. It is also a little windy. The wind should die down a bi,t so it won't feel too bad even though the maximum temperature won't be more than 14 or 15º. It will become windier again tonight with the temperature falling to 4 or 5º in the small hours of the morning.

Similar weather is expected for the rest of the week.

It will not be very warm today! Temperature at 0755 under clear blue sky is 7.5º and there is a steady wind from the north-east, bringing that cold air from inland. That wind will be with us all day, with the temperature unlikely to climb above 12º and feeling colder than that when outside. It will be fairly pleasant in the direct sun, out of the wind.

Tonight it will be no more than 3 or 4º even colder up in the hills.

Similar days expected for the rest of the week, maybe a touch warmer but still pretty cold for these parts. This weather situation looks to be set in right through the ten day forecast.

Real nippy this morning! Temperature at 0900 is 6.7º. Sky is blue, just a few clouds out on the horizon and the wind is light. It will be sunny day, quite pleasant if out of any wind with maximum temperature 13 or 14º. Cold again tonight, down to 4 or 5º pre-dawn.

No sign of any real change for the next several days.

Another bright and cold morning. Temperature at 0815am is 7.1º, wind is light. It will be a lot windier this afternoon and probably going to feel pretty cold. Maximum temperature 13 or 14º. Very cold tonight, down to 3 or 4º before dawn. Could be below freezing inland.

Likewise tomorrow and Saturday, possibly even colder. The general situation shows no sign of change for the next several days.

Colder still this morning. Temperature at 0830 is 6.1º. Clear sky, light and steady wind. It will be once again a sunny day, a little windier later, maximum temperature around 13º. And, as per these past few days, cold tonight with the temperature falling to 4 or 5 º in the hours befire dawn. Even a few miles inland, the temperature could fall to 0º.

Similar low temperatures are forecast for the weekend and at least the early part of next week. Local commentators are saying it hasn't been this cold for this long since anyone can remember.

Then local commentators have short memories! 2020 or 2021 had a very long spell of cold weather at this time of year.

You are right, but I cannot recall having to say bright and sunny but chilly for so many consecutive mornings. Same again today, temperature at 0835 is 6.4º, wind is light, sky is blue. Maximum temperature today 12 or 13º. Fairly cold again tonight, down to 5 or 6º but feeling rather colder in the wind. It might be a little less cold in the coming few days, but otherwise it looks like we have another week or so of this weather on the way. If you  even a few miles inland, the night-time temperature could well go down to 0º.

Not so cold as yesterday. Temperature at 0910am is 9.2º, wind is very light, sky a clear blue. There will be a slight change in wind direction later, it could turn cloudy and the temperature could rise to as much as 15º! It will cold again tonight, down to 6º in town and colder inland.

The next few days will see no real change in the weather other than it might be a little warmer.

And another bright and sunny morning. As yesterday, temperature early is 9.2º, wind is steady. moderate and from the north-east. It will be sunny all day. Maximum temperature might even hit 15º. Not so cold tonight as it has been, 7 or 8º but feeling colder in the wind.

It could be even warmer tomorrow, up to 17º, but the general situation shows no sign of changing this week.
