Very breezy this morning, the sea looks rough and it will be so all day. Temperature at 0820am is 20.5º, so much cooler than yesterday and there are no clouds, just a kind of haze across the estern sky. The maximum temperature today might just get to 30 or 31º this afternoon.

Tonight will be much cooler than it has been, down to 16º inland, 18º along the coast.,

Tomorrow and Wednesday will be more or lessl the same as today. Less windy and hotter weather is coming our way from Thursday.

Nice morning, not so windy as yesterday but still a good breeze, blue sky and temperature at 0734 is 19.4º. It will be sunny day, gradually warming up to around 28º by lunchtime moving towards 31 or 32 in the hottest part of the day at tea-time. It will be fairy windy all day.

It will be a pleasant night again, down to perhaps 18º in the early hours.

The next few days will be less windy, a little hotter perhaps and often with some cloud cover. That cloud cover will make for warmer nights.

A nice bright morning, blue sky and a light wind. Temperature at 0845am is 22.1º. The wind today will be from the south and south west, across the sea. It won't be so hot today as it has been, no higher than 25 or 26º. Tonight will be fairly warm, 20 or 21º.

However, the next few days will be a lot hotter once this little bit of cooler air has passed. From tomorrow the daytime temperatures will be back into the low 30's and it will generally be windy again.

It's warm this morning and quite humid. Temperature at 0820am is 23.7º, sky is slightly hazy and the wind light. The wind direction is from the south, across the sea, so although it's going to be humid, the maximum temperature won't be more than 30 or 31º today.  The wind will shift around this evening to come once more from the north, minimum tonight around 21º.

It wil be a bit warmer perhaps tomorrow ahead of a very hot weekend, when temperature is forecast to reach 36º. The outlook for next week is in the low 30's, cloudy at times. Nights won't be uncomfortable with the temperatures falling to 20 - 22º by the early morning hours.

It could be quite warm this afternoon. Temperature at 0730 is 23.1º, there is a light wind from the south under blue sky.  It is expected to be around 28º by lunchtime, 31 by tea-time. By this evening, the wind direction will have changed to be coming more from the north.

A fairly warm night is expected, 22 or 23º. A hot weekend is coming, 34 ot 35º perhaps. The outlook for next week is 32º Monday and Tuesday then gradually geetting hotter towards next weekend.

It's going to be reallly hot here today. Forecast says we could hit 36º this afternoon.

Temperature at 0810am is 24.2º, sky is blue and there is just a very light wind from the south. During the day, the direction will change to come from the north, bringing hot air from inland. That does mean though that tonight it will be pleasantly cool witha fresh breeze.

There's another very hot and windy day coming tomorrow, followed by several more days in the 32 - 34º range. Days will be hot, nights will be cool in the wind.

After a pleasantly cool night, it is going to be hot today. Temperature at 0900 is 22.1º, there isa moderate and steady wind from the north. The tempaeraure could peak at 34 or 35º around lunchtime. The wind will be with us all day. Toniight will again be fairly cool, 18 - 20º but feeling cooler in the wind.

A hot week is ahead. Daytime temepratures will be in the 32 - 34º range, nights will though be cool and it will be windy most of the time.

Another nice sunny day coming up. Temperature at 0855am is 19.7º, so not as hot as yesterday at this time. The wind is from the north, so clear skies and dry air. Maximum today could reach 33º, but during the late afternoon and early evening it will cool down fairly quickly to 26º or so. Clear sky means cold night, down to perhaps 16º inland, 18 along the coast.

The rest of the week will see little change.

This is I hope my last on the spot report for a while. The current ten day forecast in English is at the official PT Meteo website at https://www.ipma.pt/en/otempo/prev.localidade.hora/#Faro&Albufeira

The last 10 days been as warm as Portugal and on Saturday past 17th we had the warmest temp ever recorded in N Ireland a high of 31.2. With only 5mm of rain in July. A hosepipe ban looks set to be announced as temps sit high 20s rest of week before a break this weekend. Not having aircon makes sleeping impossible. almost 3 weeks oh sunshine

[From 'cubsur' - Bob D told me on Sunday he has come from NI to Albufeira for the cooler nights!]

Sorry this is not the normally excellent weather forecast by Cubsur as he is away on his jollies.

Just to let everyone know that it is typical Albufeira weather in July.

Very hot. Over 30 degrees every day.

It can get a bit cool late in the evening but only when the breeze picks up.

Typically there are a lot of very pink people about.

Well Well Well. Shock horror. There was a cloudy sky this morning, in fact total cloud cover.

However, by lunchtime it was bright blue skies and absolutely no cloud at all.

Usual boring mid thirties temperature in the Old Town.

On a positive note the beach seems to getting busier everyday.

30 degrees plus day after day after day.

Bright blue skies.

Obviously no sign of any rain.

What more can I say.

Weather warning issued for the weekend and Monday. Temperature is forecast to reach 37º on Saturday, 39º on Sunday and Monday. Time for a siesta in the afternoon? There will no doubt be some silly people roasting on the sand.
