It didn't turn out so nice yesterday as was expected. The mist and low cloud didn't really clear all day. Today is much better so far, clear sky with just a hint of cloud. There is a fairly strong wind from the east, the region is on a yellow warning today for rough sea.

Temperature at 0822 is 15.6º.  A high of 22 or 23 is exected this afternoon but it will become even windier. A reasonably warm night will follow, no lower than 14 or 15º.

Monday and Tuesday are also going to windy but warm, 23 or 24º again. Wednesday could be even windier and on Thursday it is forecast to be raining.

It is a cloudy start to the day but the sun is just starting to show. Temperature at0900  is 16.8º. The wind is fairly light at the moment and from the east. It will be windier later, maxmum temperature 21 or 22. There is a yelllow warning for rough sea.

It will be a warm night, 15 - 17º and still a little windy.

Not much change for tomorrow and Wednesday. Thursday is quite likely to be  a rainy day.

The Easter weekend is going to be slightly unsettled with a risk of showers.

There was a surprise yesterday afternoon with a brief spell of light rain and another few minutes during the evening. Definitely were not on the agenda.

It has been very windy during the early hours. slackening off now but still quite blowy.  Ther isa yelow warnng for rough seas again. It is dull and grey, temperature at 0915am is 18.8º, so it's not cold. It's going to be a windy day, maximum temperature 22 or 23º. Rain is not expected but it wasn't yesterday.

It will be warm again tonight, no lower than around 18º. Similar tomorrow, very windy from the east all day. The wind will change direction for Thursday, to come more from the south and bringing rain with it. Friday and the Easter weekend will be a mix of sunshine and clouds, expected to stay dry and around 21º.

"Everything is covered in sand dust  this morning..."

Yes, I have noticed that my nice new windows are smeared with it from the little bit of rain we had yesterday! A poor air quality warning was issued yesterday afternoon. The sky is a slightly tinged colour this morning.

Update 1245 - the sky is now very brown because of the dust. I can almost taste it in the air

It is a bit murky this morning  but much better than yesterday. It is very windy indeed. Temperature at 0945am is 18.7º. The wind will be strong all day, from the south-east, up to 45kph with another warning for rough sea in force. Maximum temperature around 22º. Rain is not forecast for today.

The wind will ease right off during the evening ahead of what is likely going to be a rainy night. That rain should mostly pass by dawn, but there is a chance of some short spells of rain later in the day. It will be cooler tomorrow, 18 or 19º.

There should be be some sun on Friday and over the weekend, some cloudy spells with showers possible, temperature around 20º.

Well, no rain here last night except for just a few spots,  but a band of rain is crossing the region out to the west and a second edition is heading up from the south, coming more our way.

It is a cloudy morning, temperature at 0850am is 16.8º, wind steady from the south. Rain could arrive at any time before mid afternoon and may last a while. Maximum temperature 19º. There will be much less wind tonight than there has been over recent days, but it will be much colder, possible down to 12º.

Tomorrow and the weekend are going to be mostly cloudy, some sunny spells with a chance of a shower or two,  with daytime around 20 or 21º.  Outlook for next week is similar.

A bright morning, just a bit of haze. The wind is once more coming from the north, so it is rather hay fevery. Temperaature at 0900 is 14.9º, the wind is light.

It wil be a nice day today, temperature increasing to 20 or 21º this afternoon, although it will be windier as the day goes on.  Tonight will be on the cool side, down to 11 or 12º perhaps.

The weekend will be mostly sunny, but with a chance of an isolated shower or two. The wind will be steady from the north, temperature around the 22 or 23º mark. The early days of next week should be ok, but we may be having more rain towards next weekend.

Low grey cloud is blotting out the sun. Temperature at 1000am is 15.7º, the wind is fairly light and from the north. It will be windier later and with a change in direction to come from the south west. There is a chance of a shower or two yhis afternoon. Maximum temperature 21 or 22º.

It will be warmer tonight than it has been, 14 or 15º.  Some mixed weather is on the way. Clouds, some sunny spells, maybe some showers but not so windy. It will be getting warmer, 26º is forecast for the middle of next week.

A nice start to what is going to be a pleasant day. Sunny, light wind from the notrh, temperature at 0945am is 16.2º.  It will become a little cloudy later but temperature should reach 22 or 23º. [ A couple of places way up north recorded 27º yesterday, but the wind was not bringing much warm air our way, just pollen dust.]

The temperature will fall to around 14º tonight ahead of another nice day tomorrow. Tuesday and Wednesday should be warmer, 24 or 25º with no rain forecast.
