Yesterday was a very dull day all day, today looks better. Temperature at 0840am is 14-7º, there is a light wind.  It's expected to be a little cloudy today with a maximum temperature of 20 or 21º. Tonight won't be too cold, 14 or 15 until the very early hours when it could fall to 12 or 13.

Little change is forecast for the weekend. From Monday there is a growing chance of rain in what might be a slightly unsettled week of sun and clouds, with showers thrown in from time to time.

Nicer day yesterday, a bit windy at times.

Fairly sunny this morning ,with a little bit of high cloud and some haze out to sea. Temperature at 0845am is 15.2º. There is only a very slight wind.

It be windier later with a maximum temperature of 21 or 22º. It will be fairly cold again tonight, down to 11 or 12 inland, 13 or 14 along the coast.

A similar day is expected tomorrow, Monday will be cooler and then the forecast says a  cold front is coming in, bringing a couple of days of very much cooler and rather wet weather for Tuesday and Wednesday

Very misty and damp this morning. Temperature at 0810am is 15.4º. There is barely any wind The mist will clear during the morning and we will have a maximum temperature of about 21º. It will be fairly windy this afternoon and early evening ahead of a cold night.

It will be much colder tonight than it has been,  low as 8 or 9º inland, maybe 10 or 11 along the coast.

Tomorrow will be a sunny but fairly cold day, 18º at best then wet and still colder weather is due from Tuesday. For the rest of the week, we will have a mix of sun and showers.

A nice enough start to the day, but later it will become rather windy as a forerunner to some rainy days ahead.

Temperature at 07353am is 13.8º, sun is out, just a few clouds high in the sky. It should stay dry today, but will be windy this afternoon. Maximum temperature 19º but will feel colder in the wind. It will be fairly cold tonight, 9 or 10 inland, 11 or 12 along the coast.

Much cooler weather  (15º) is coming tomorrow, rain is likely from around  lunchtime and will last through the day and night into Wednesday. Thursday should be a nicer day, then more rain is coming from Friday.

There was a little bit of rain during the night and there is more to come later.

Temperature at 0810am is 13.2ºC, so about the same as yesterday. There is quite a bit of cloud, some of it fairly dark out to the west. The current rainfall is though to the east, a kind of big hook from west to east that is swirling around to come back this way this afternoon and early evening. Maximum temperature no more than about 16º.

After the rain it will be clear for a few hours, then more rain is expected during the early hours of Wednesday followed by cloudy but dry weather. It will again be pretty cold, 16 or 17º. Thursday should be a nicer day all round, 22º and mainly sunny but more rain is likely on Friday and Saturday followed by an unsettled few days of sunshine and showers.

City council directive, as explained elsewhere. All restaurant and bar terrace seating must be removed for the duration.

Turning to the weather, after a fairly windy and rainy night it should be dry today, although it is still very cloudy. Temperature at 0840am is 14.1º in alight breeze. It could be fairly warm today, the easterly wind bringing 22 or 23º this afternoon ,but there is a yellow warning out for wind and rough seas. The night wil be dry with the temperature down to 13 or 14º but it will still be rather windy.

Tomorrow should be a dry and sunny day, could be 22 or 23º in the afternoon. More rain is on the way for Friday and Saturday.

WEATHER UPDATE 1055AM
Raining steadily and there has just been a big rumble of thunder. That was definitely not on the agenda.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Temperature at 0750am is 16.1º, there is a light wind. It won't get much warmer today.

Rain is forecast for this afternoon and early evening. It could be quite heavy at times, a  yellow warning is out. The rain will ease off during the night, the temperature will fall to around 10 - 12º depending on where you are.

More rain is coming tomorrow morning and could be around until tea-time. It might even be colder than today. Sunday could also be a bit wet then for the rest of the week it's going to be a mix of sunshine and showers and between 17 - 19º which is about average for this time of year.

Wet and windy this morning and likely to be so for most of the day. More showers than long periods of rain, but some bursts could be quite heavy.

Temperature at 0820am is 14.4º. With the wind and rain, max today no more than 16.

The rain will ease off around tea-time this afternoon to be followed by a dry but cold night. It could be as low as 7º inland, maybe 9 or 10 along the coast.

Tomorrow will see some sun through the clouds, but it will still be fairly cold, 14 or 15 at best with a chance of some more showers during the afternoon. Likewise Monday but after that the weather will improve with more sunshine, temperatures back up to 18 or 19 and only a small chance of any rain.

Turned out better than expected later in the day yesterday. I watched black clouds to the south, moving on to rain somewhere else.

Today it's bright and sunny after a fairly cold night. Temperature at 0935am is 14.2º.  There is a light wind and a few little clouds. A reasonable day is forecast, maybe a slight chance of a few spots of rain this afternoon and a maximum of 18º.

It will be fairly cold again tonight, 8º inland and 10º along the coast.

Tomorrow will start nice but rain, possibly heavy at times, is forecast for lunchtime onward and it will be a bit cooler. The rest of week should be mostly fine, a few clouds here and there, not much chance of rain and temperatures up to around 19 or 20.

Fairly bright this morning with some scattered cloud but rain is likely this afternoon.

Temperature at 0955 am is 14.3º, there is very little wind.

It will cloud over from around lunchtime with a good possibility of rain for much of the rest of the day. Maximum temperature 17 or 18º before the clouds roll in. Tonight should be dry and around 11º here. Colder inland.

The rest of the week will be mainly dry and a little warmer, there is a slight chance only of any rain showers.

It's going to be a nice day. I shall take my permitted outdoor exercise this afternoon.

Temperature at 0935am is 14.5º, there is a gentle breeze and a few clouds high up. We shall have the sun all day with a maximum temperature of perhaps 22º. There is a very slight chance of a bit of rain this evening. Tonight will be warmer than it has been, no lower than 13 or14.

Tomorrow will be ok in  the morning then from lunchtime a 50% chance of rain. Slight cooler as well. The rest of the week will cloudy with some sun, little if any chance of rain.

Sunny overhead but clouding over with a possibility of rain this afternoon.

Temperature at 0850 is 16.1º, there is a light breeze. It will be cloudy most of the day with a 50% chance of rain from lunchtime. Maximum temperature of 18 or 19. It will be a dry night, but not very warm, down to between 9 and 11 depending on where you are.

Tomorrow should be a dry and sunny day, also a bit warmer. Friday will be cloudy again then from Saturday it's going to be a mix of sunny intervals and showers for several days. The days will also be cooler, with the wind coming down from the north or north-west.

Bright and sunny, very little wind. Should be a nice day today.

Temperature at 0810am is 13.5º Although it might be a little cloudy later, the temperature could reach 21 or 22 this afternoon. It could also be fairly windy later. It will stay dry.

The wind is from the north, so it will be cold tonight, 10 or 11 along the coast, 8 or 9 inland.

Friday and Saturday are likely to be quite cloudy and a bit cooler, staying dry though. A change in wind direction over Sunday will bring unsettled and probably rainy weather for the early part of next week.

Sunny overhead, hazy out to sea, should be a reasonable day today.

Temperature at 0750am is 13.0º, there is some high cloud and a light breeze. The cloud will increase later, it will become a little more windy with maximum temperature around 21º if there are breaks in the cloud. It will stay dry.

It will be cold again tonight in a northerly wind, 10 or 11 along the coast, 8 or 9 inland.

There won't be much change over the weekend except for a slight chance of rain Sunday afternoon. Monday and Tuesday look like being rainy days, especially Tuesday.
