For once I'm not really jealous of the weather in Albufeira, happy with the mid twenties here in Dublin. | Me neither, still in the low 30's here in North Norfolk and that's just fine. Had a smidgeon of rain last weekend for a couple of hours but we missed all the really heavy stuff. Been another glorious week and everywhere is jam packed with tourists.

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Had some rain today which should go some way to rectifying the gardens, etc. Our football pitch looks and sounds like walking on Wheatabix! BBC just mentioned a wildfire near Monchique with 200 fire fighters in attendance?

IPMA say 36 today, the BBC say 27! What’s that all about? Perhaps someone could tell us later what it actually was, cheers in advance.
Addendum. Steve Wright on BBC Radio two said at 2.30 this afternoon Albufeira was already 30 degree’s, he wants to tell his company’s weather men!

Weather and weather reports have all gone downhill since we changed from Good Old British Centigrade to Celsius. Standards are slipping all the time.

I return to a hot and sunny Albufeira. Just turned 0930 and it is already 27ºC. Forecast for today is a maximum of 32 or 33. Sky is blue, a light breeze is coming from the south east, across the sea, so it is quite humid. There's not going to be any appreciable change for the next few days.

Welcome back Cubsur. Nice to see the return of the daily reports from a sunny Albufeira. It goes some way to cheering up what is another wet and windy day here in Oldham, where the temperature is currently around 15 degrees. Only just over a fortnight to go though and we’ll be back to see for ourselves ☀️

And another nice day in prospect here, although it is a little hazy out to sea at the moment. Temperature at 0815am is 25'C, it-s not as humid as yesterday. Maximum today around 33ºC, a light wind is coming from the east. Tonight won't be below 24ºC, the rest of the week pretty much the same although becoming cooler at night by the end of the week.

Sunny once again but very humid. Temperature at 0935am is 27.9ºC, humidity thing says 80%. Expecting a high today of 33ºC. It will be cold tonight, possibly as low as 22ºC. The wind is from the north now, so daytimes are going to be the same until the weekend at least. Night-time temperatures will drop to 20ºC or maybe less, so take the fleeces and woollies when out at night.

Not so hot today, but humid. Rather misty and murky out to sea, temperature at 1055am is only 24.4ºC, could reach 32 if the mist clears. Tonight it should be a bit cooler than it has been, could be as low as 22. Little if any change is forecast for the next week at least, except that night-time temperature may be as low as 19 or 20.

Same as yesterday, misty out to sea, 24.4ºC at 1005am and very humid. The mist will soon burn off, temperature will rise to 32ºC. It could become fairly breezy late in the day. Temperature tonight won't be lower again than 19 or 20ºC.
The wind is set in from the north, so Friday and Saturday could be pretty hot, 35 or 36 but still only 19 or 20 at night. No change is seen for the general situation for the next ten days, low 30's daytime, 20 at night and no rain.

A bi warmer this morning, 25.3ºC at 0930am. There's a bit of a breeze coming through hte window and some patchy high cloud to be seen-
It could be very hot today, forecast says 37ºC later. Not too bad tonight, down to 21 or 22.
The weekend will also be pretty hot, staying in the mid 30's daytime, then a small weather system will bring temperatures back to a more normal 31ish from Monday onward. It will be getting cold at night though, between 18 - 20ºC inland, 20 - 22 along the coast. No rain is expected, almost the whole region is on maximum fire alert.

Quite windy again this morning, pleasantly wafting through the windows. Misty out to sea again. It's a little warmer than yesterday, temperature at 0920am is 26.5ºC. Very dry air coming from the north, humidity thing says 26% which is quite contrast to earlier in the week. There won't be a any problem sleeping therefore.
Forecast for today is a maximum of around 34, falling to 24 tonight.
It is going to be very slightly cooler day and night in the coming week, but still around 30 or 31 daytime, although may be as low as 18 or 19 at night. Not yet time for hot water bottles and bedsocks.

Another hot one. Temperature at 1100am is 29.7ºC, still the same very dry air from inland. Expecting 33ºC later, it will feel hotter in town among the buildings.
Tonight will fall to around 22ºC. Similar day tomorrow, could be a little cloudy and maybe only 28ºC on Tuesday. Outlook for the rest of the week is for daytimes around 31ºC, night time 17 - 19 perhaps a bit warmer next weekend as the wind is forecast to change direction to come more from the south.
