Looks like it's going to be cool, showery day today after a similar day yesterday.
Currently it's 13C/55F with the forecast high only 16C/61F. It certainly wasn't as cold last night as it was on Wednesday.
The fairly strong wind is still coming in from the west and with it are a whole mass of showers heading this way. It's pretty grey at the moment and there is a big black cloud just coming into view. People walking past are wisely carrying umbrellas. I have to be out and about today and don't have one, so I will get wet I should imagine.
More of the same forecast for tomorrow but clearing up through Sunday.

Morning. My thermometer is out the back and out of the sun. It shows 12C/55F at 0900. It is a bit sheltered so I am not surprised that out in the plains of Almancil it is a bit colder. It was certainly rather unwarm on the way home last night.
There is a lot of cloud around this morning and the wind is from the west. Showers are forecast but these will be isolated and weak.
Today's high in the region of 20C/68F.
Have a nice day.

0845 and it's 16C/60F but feels cooler with a bit of a wind blowing from the north-west. There is some thin high cloud around but generally fairly pleasant looking at the moment.
Forecast high is only 18C/64F but it might get warmer than that if the cloud stays away. Tonight it will drop to 10C/52F so winter draws on.
There's no rain around so should stay dry today. Good golfing weather I would imagine.

Well the weather here has taken a turn for the worse. 0645am and it's 15C/57F forecast high 19C/66F. A band of rain passed through during the night and is now mainly over south west Spain and Morocco. Raining still in the eastern Algarve,
Still to come are are isolated showers being driven by a moderate wind from the north-west. Very high probability of some rainy spells during today.
This is all purely relative of course and again I am reminded (thanks Bobster) of one of the reasons I moved here!

Well, what can I say? Just had to nip out to the local shop to replace the rolls that I dropped while trying to (unsuccessfully) remove the sticky tie thing from around the neck of the plastic bag. I've just had my legs pebble-dashed by a council gritting wagon!!! Expecting below freezing temperatures here in good old Wigan!! I think that I'll hibernate until Spring!! Boo Hoooo!!! Yes, this should probably be on British weather (before someone tells me what an idiot I am) , but, I was responding to a thread on "Albufeira Weather" so, it seemed the right place to comment. Ta' very much!!

Another boring old hot day in prospect. At 0915 it is 18C/65F rising to 24C/75F. Light winds from the north-west. Possibly clouding over later this afternoon with a small possibility of a shower or two.

1030am and it's 21C/70F with forecast high as for the last two days. Bright blue skies light wind from the north-east.
Looks like it will cool down a little as the week goes on with some more cloud around.

Low tech weather report for 0845 here in Albufeira.
It's the same as yesterday 15/59F with a forecast high of around 23/72 once again. Bright blue sunny skies and not a wisp of cloud. Light winds from the north. No rain anywhere showing up on the radar as I write.
Don't forget clocks go back at 2am tomorrow morning. Summer's over.

Exiledbee, this is Houston...
Seems all systems are go. It's either a atmospheric phenomenom that temperature hasn't changed during the day or the guys at Faro airport forgot to upload the weather observation report. We've checked the feed and it seems to be working correctly. Anyway, thanks for the warning.
over and out
