It's a very grey and cloudy morning here in Albufeira. Current temperature is 15C/60F but the fairly stiff breeze is making it feel rather cool.
It might warm up a bit during the afternoon but not by much.
It should stay dry today but there is a very large lump of rainy weather currently over the Canary Islands and it's heading this way. The weekend forecast is not too good! Heavy rain and thunderstorms are predicted for Saturday afternoon.

Well that didn't last long - it has gone all dark and cloudy.
There is whole lot of rain falling way out to sea now, but it should miss us.

Today started a bit foggy but that has cleared now and the sun is out. Current temperature 16C/62F expected to rise to 18 or 19 this afternoon.
There's fairly strong wind blowing from the east; the sea looks a bit rough out there.
And yes, the forecasts are showing a high probability of rain over the weekend and into Monday at least.

Just looked at the 7 day forecast on Weatherbug, that confirms the cloud bit but, worryingly, it's forecasting "90% chance of precipitation" from Wednesday next.
Great if you're arriving Tuesday like someone I know!!!

930am and it is 14C/57F outside. It's a bit hazy, the sun is trying to break through and we are expecting a day similar to yesterday with temperatures reaching 18 or 19C.
There's a fairly stiff breeze from the east which will whip up the sea a little. There's some rain way out to sea and it should miss us.
Tomorrow and Friday will be much the same but getting cloudier by the weekend.

Well it was very pleasant this morning, sitting in the sun watching the football. Current temperature at 250pm local time is 18C/64F. It has started to cloud over a little bit and the sun has gone. The wind is stronger than yesterday, coming from the west/north so that will keep temperatures down a little.
Tonight the temperature will drop to 9 or 10C, Wednesday and Thursday might not be as warm as today but certainly around the 15C/59F mark.
There is no rain around anywhere close.

Same today - currently 17C/64F and feeling nice and warm in the sunshine. There's a very light breeze up here in the hills of Pateo. No rain around anywhere.
Tomorrow and Wednesday should be a little warmer still and we could well have 19 or 20C which is 70F.

Back in Albufeira. A cool, bright start to the day. It's currently 16C/53F and will probably reach 18 or 19 this afternoon. that's 65 and 67F. Wind is from the east and no rain around.
Forecast for tomorrow (first day of Carnaval) is for another bright sunny day but by Tuesday (Carnaval holiday) it might be little cooler but still dry and bright..

Today in Albufeira the forecast is for 17/18C, mid 60's F and the same for the weekend. Summer comes early. No rain in the offing.
In Lisbon it was a little cold last night but here it will be up to 14 or 15 this afternoon. Not bad for the time of year.

I was in Santarem today - look it up yourselves. Got there around noon and it was thick fog - couldn't see a thing. An hour later, fog gone and a quite pleasant town it was too. Nice sunshine but only about 14 or 15 I reckon.
Off topic here, but funnily enough the whole town centre is being dug up for civic improvements. Felt quite at home but at least they are making parks and gardens.
