Hi guys
Haven’t posted on the forum in years. Myself and 11 guys from work are considering a golf trip in mid September. Just wondering is there much life about albufeira mid September or has it died right down at that stage? |

Not sure about this year but normally still very busy and loads going on. Only slows down towards the end of October in a non-Covid year!

Everything that has opened now through August will keep going into December .. though we dont think clubs will be able to open ... and bars may be quite restricted. With mass re-infection in Portugal, especially Vilamoura to Lagos area, restrictions may get tougher for a while, but it should still be fairly busy right through .. mainly adults Sep - mid.Oct ..

Mid September, just after schools are back, is a very popular time here for adults including many golfers. In previous years it has always been very busy here at that time. Everything touristy would be open in a normal year. If travel and golf and going out for an evening returns to anything like what we knew before, it will be fine. The tourist industry will be anxious to make the best of things to try to make up for what is going to be a very bad summer for them.

Mid September is a great time to visit, you’ll have no problem with facilities being open and traditionally the weather is great, having seen the extreme temperatures of July and August off.
