Yes, many of the 'tourist' restaurants are already closed. People I know working in the business are unsure whether they will open at Christmas and New Year, which many would have done in previous years. They certainly will not if the New Year's Eve celebrations are banned.

We were told quite a few restaurants are now closing until next year , O Marinheiro will close this weekend and also Sao Domingoes too, it has hit the industry so badly, I wonder who will be there next year . 😔

Very quiet last night. Same places open as above but the other restaurants all closed by 1030. Heard some noises of music from further away though.

The reason why only 2 sound the same as 4r is that i noticed along time age that they were miming to a disc at the behind them, but give them there due they had it down to a fine art.

Its worth giving him a €1 to bugger off seen him interupt many a family meal getting up close and personal shoving his pot under someones nose whilst they're tucking into chicken piri piri 🤣 .... wonder if he demanded payment for artistic rights on the poster 🤔

Myself and Tom said exactly that on the “Photography Exhibition “ thread. Why the promoters would have him on the publicity poster!
I don’t mind honest endeavour when the choice to donate, or not, is yours, like Reg when he was alive and kicking but this accordion bloke does a number and a half and walks round sticking his collecting bag under your nose and he gets stroppy if you don’t give him some sheckles.

The tune when I went past was Orinoco Flow. That and the theme to Last of  the Mohicans is on my delete list.

I too am not a big fan of theirs, The music is imposed on you if you choose to sit outside any of the bars around the square in the afternoon, also thinking back to how many of them there used to be in the group when they first started to what they are now, a trio at times and sometimes just the 2 of them, but  still sounding the same🤔
