Outdoors at this time of year?  Just brilliant!
Our garden is full of dead things.  But there's plenty of them.
It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams

I didn't know the were called that. I just about know a daffodil from a daisy. Anyway, they look nice and might cheer people up a bit.

I realised that the white flecks on the purple flower are paint! One of the painters working on Monday flicked his brush that way.

One of Steve Bruce's daffodiles has emerged into the back garden sunshine.

Steve Bruce? His quote earlier today on the subject of Newcastle's possible relegation situation ""We’re coming to sticky part. When the daffodils are up the crux of the season is upon us," he said."

Anyone know what these are called? Spotted down below the big new apartment blocks just along the road. They are every colour from yellow to almost red.

Nearby was this mean looking plant and several other varieties.

And across the road a mass of yellow. No wonder I have hay fever at the moment!

they are nasturtium, or Tom Thumbs, it is very interesting to see them in full bloom, here in Scotland there isn’t even a suggestion of them peeping through the cold soil, don’t expect them to bloom before June/July, oh the joys

Nice they may be, but no wonder hay fever is so bad at the moment! Just a few of the many.
