I have reached the end of my expertise I have kicked it a few times and swore at it but to no avail....telephone call.

Thanks for recommendation Pete. Came within 2 hours yesterday diagnosed fault..circuit board...back today with repaired board fitted and sorted.
Very efficient and polite.....no shaking of head and shrugging of shoulders .Impressed thanks.

Do either of you have an address for him, if he has a shop? The door of my rather old washing machine has a crack in it. I would like to source and have fitted a replacement rather than spend €300 on a whole new machine. I will up that way on Monday and may call in.
