Taken from local media Starting from June 14:
From June 28 there will be further ‘easing’ of restrictions on sporting events; public transports will finally be able to return to running at ‘full capacity’ and Citizens’ Shops (Lojas de Cidadão) will return to be accessible without prior appointment. But a big blow to tourists - bars, nightclubs etc will still not be permitted to open. |

These two laws have been abolished as of yesterday except in Lisbon, Braga and a couple of other placeswhere the contagion is rampant. This arbitrary decision shows how illogical it is all becoming. However, bars, nightclubs etc still cannot open at all.

I have yet to find this confirmed or otherwise in local media. Albufeira is however on 'alert' (along with Loulé) which seems to mean that should the numbers continue to increase, the town will fall back to the restrictions lifted only last week. All this mucking about is getting nowhere. ALL restaurants, bars etc should be closed down permanently until there are zero cases recorded, even if it takes two years. People should be confined to their homes except to go to work, school or go shopping. All travel must be banned.
