We need test to go back to uk is the 75euro one at the free testing centre in albufeira please

To go back to the Uk you can travel with the free antigen test on the previous page then a PCR when you arrive !

No you need PCR test for uk and test 2 days after arrival

Travellers will need to:

  • Take a private Covid test in their holiday destination before returning home - this can be a lateral flow or PCR test
  • Fill in a passenger locator form online before leaving their destination
  • Take a private PCR test on or before day two of their arrival in England or Scotland

My husband flies in and out every other week for work and he takes either a lateral or antigen tests

If you look on the website posted on the previous page there are antigen tests available on Thursday from afternoon to evening

The PCR to travel changes from 17th, but you will need a PCR when you arrive within 2 days, we found Eurofins offer PCR from £45

Thirten flights due into to Faro from UK today, about thirteen more than there has been this past five months!

Three from Stansted, two each from Manchester, Heathrow, Birmingham and Gatwick and one each from East Midlands and Gatwick.

Nothing like the same time last year but a step in the right direction. Let's hope the process of getting out of the airport does not attract to much attention from the Daily Wail etc.
