Just found this on Presstur.com re Ryanair. had to translate it .

More than 60% of the flights from the United Kingdom to Portugal that Ryanair aimed to start in July are to Faro Airport, which will have

14 of routes and will reach a total of 73 weekly flights.

Ryanair's operating schedule, which low cost updated on 16 May, provides flights to Faro from Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff,

East Midlands,Edinburgh, Glasgow Prestwick, Liverpool, London Luton, London Southend, London Stansted, Manchester, Newcastle and Newquay Cornwall.

The schedule foresees the beginning of these routes on the 1st of July with 37 weekly flights, which will rise successively to 63 and

then 73, namely from the 1st of August, namely with the increase of the connections from East Midlands to ten per week, from London Stansted

for two daily flights and from Manchester for 11 a week.

For Porto, Ryanair's calendar includes five routes that start with 15 flights a week and in August reach 23.

The flights scheduled for Porto are from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Liverpool, London Stansted and Manchester.

Already to Lisbon three routes are planned, Edinburgh, London Stansted and Manchester, which start with 13 flights
 and will rise to 21.

Ryanair has also scheduled two flights a week from London Stansted to Ponta Delgada from the 4th  of July.

This will upset Ryanair's plans and those of other airlines if it comes into force.

Yep, confirmed as coming into force but at the moment it seems every guideline issued is being ignored so what the difference in theory v reality turns out to be, only time will tell.

I read also that when it comes into force in June it will be reviewed every 3 weeks. Personally I don't know how they are going to police this quarantine once folks leave the airports to their own homes, mmm, we will see.
Yes Andrew  seems some folks are ignoring every guideline, how stupid, they must think they are immune to this virus.

A knock on the door at dawn, opening it to find men in black leather coats demanding your identity papers. People being sent to camps? France 1944? No, UK 2020.

I am scheduled to arrive in UK July 20th to leave August 1st staying at two different addresses. No way I can 'self-isolate' for 14 days and if the databases are properly checked no way I can lie. Will my flights be 'refunded' in these circumstances I wonder.

£1000 fine for ignoring this 'guideline' apparently. Will people be informing on neighbours they don't like? Beware having a sun tan this summer.

My travel insurance would not cover Covid19 related disruption and I doubt they would cover flights already booked, which operate, where complying with Government quarantine rules are not observed.

Perhaps the details of the quarantine when published will outline the process for short breaks, etc.

Remember Brexit ? ... Boris isnt just being pedantic about the virus ... nor in any way serious.
The real reason for a `quarantine` threat is in the number of people holidaying abroad ... almost 80 million trips, spending almost £50 billion ... whereas the opposite way was half that.
He wants the extra £25 billion spent at home .. as they are somewhat short of a few bob now ..
and they`ll be a lot shorter by January ..

Yes ... all part of a manic scheme to get people to spend the week in Blackpool and Bognor, Scarborough and Skeg, where you get at least 50p for your pound. Then, Portugal will again be short of more than a few bob .. Costa`s official car, probably a Tuk-tuk .. salvaged from parts at hundreds of dump sites .. the nova Cuba ..

Of course, if loads of people were to simply ignore Boris, there would be a quick `about turn` ..
and a sharp tax rise ..

Or maybe it was because a lot of people were complaining about all those people ( 15,000 ) arriving at Heathrow unchecked. A case of the gov listening to the masses, implementing things late AGAIN.

All  the information they require re where your traveling too and returning from they will already have. API.
How they will have the resources to check on everyone will be a non starter. It is a case of scaring people.

Pyrman - you forgot Saltcoats.
It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams

Wow, it's a Pandemic, not an opportunity dreamt up by Boris.

You may, or may not agree with the Conservatives in general, or in particular over Brexit, but let's keep things within the realms of reality, rather that a paranoid parallel universe! Thumbs Up

"How they will have the resources to check on everyone will be a non starter"

Agreed some will be scared into obedience. Many will not.

The technology is relatively simple. Whatever paperwork you will have to fill in will ask for your mobile phone number, which will be dutifully supplied.

Your phone is a tracker. No-one can bear to turn off their phone so it's always on, registering your whereabouts. Have you disabled GPS? Woe betide anyone who isn't where they are supposed to be if you are one of the 'chosen' to be checked upon and location verified.

People are being urged not to use public transport for the foreseeable future. Aircraft are public transport. Is your holiday really necessary?

As an aside, I read that France has retaliated and imposes a 14 day quarantine on arrivals from UK from 8th June. Obviously no-one who might be infected will be travelling over the next two weeks.

Quite agree but there are ways round it. Use an old phone with a new payasyou go sim and leave it in your home and then go out. Also you could go by ferry to Ireland from spain and the frerry  via dublin or Larne to uk to bypass the 2 weeks.
